The Mercedes-Benz Citan has only recently debuted, but the company has already revealed a camping-friendly upgrade for it.
The aftermarket trunk box comes from campervan specialist VanEssa, weighs 60 kg (132 lbs), and will come in a number of colors to choose from when it reaches the market. It consists of a frame and multiple drawers suitable for storing kitchen utensils and other thing.
Further options include a kitchen sink, a stovetop, a fridge, and a modest-sized fresh water tank. There is also a rather large folding bed (189x115 cm, or 74x45 inches) that you can keep folded under the kitchenette when not needed and unfold to put over the rear seats for a bit of added comfort.
