The November auto show in Los Angeles promises to become very rich in events. It became known that at this event the official presentation of the coupé sedan Mercedes CLS of the third generation will take place.
The novelty features a low roof and frameless doors, but the body design is as close as possible to the classic requirements of the brand. In particular, the four-door has received an unusual form of headlights with corners of navigation lights. Buyers are available 18-, 19- and 20-inch wheels. The interior of the Mercedes CLS largely copies the E- and S-Class models. The driver is available immediately two touchscreen. The first one displays information from the multimedia system, and the second one is used as a dashboard.
The new Mercedes-Benz model is assembled on the rear-wheel-drive modular MRA platform on which the E-Class sedan is based, while the electronics are borrowed from the S-Class. The stock version of the car is equipped with a spring suspension, but for an additional fee you can install adaptive or pneumatic. Under the hood of the base modification, both petrol and diesel units can be hidden. The first gives out almost 300, and the second about 350 "horses". Also, the sedan can be ordered with six-cylinder engines of the new family.
In the model range Mercedes CLS will be located between the sedans E- and S-Class. Sales of new items will begin in early 2018, information on prices yet.
