The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class 4-Door Coupe is a truly iconic car, but it has not always been so. Designing the first CLS generation without prior experience in this market segment, the company risked much – but the effort paid off. Today, let us see what German tuner mariani Car-Styling proposes to do with the latest-gen CLS.
The car shown here is a CLS 450 (C257) that rides on 21-inch, five-spoke forged wheels finished in dark grey. The aftermarket rims measure 10.5 inches wide at the front axle and 11.5 inches at the rear one. The tuner found a way to lower the stock air-ride suspension without reprogramming the ECU, thus keeping the manufacturer’s warranty intact.
Exterior mods include a Panamericana front grille reminiscent of the AMG GT flagship, and exhaust tips that give off AMG GT63 vibes. The rest of the exhaust system stays stock, as does the engine.
