Mercedes cut down a significant portion of its North American CLS lineup earlier today, getting rid of both the CLS 450 (entry-level RWD spec) and the AMG CLS 53 (top spec). Customers in Europe proved much luckier than that: they can still order the regular AMG version, as well as a special edition limited to 300 units.
The exclusive series sports pinstripes, 20-inch wheels, and black accents with darkened windows courtesy of Night Package.
Also preinstalled is AMG Dynamic Plus, which adds red brake calipers and a racing-friendly drivetrain mode with a Drift feature.
Other than that, the limited batch comes with a sports steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather, bi-color leather trim, and carbon-fiber details.
