G-Power almost turns the Mercedes-AMG E63 S into a hypercar

Some time earlier this year, Brabus released a power kit for the Mercedes-AMG E63 S sedan, essentially bringing it on par with some hypercars in terms of performance. G-Power has launched a similar kit today, so let’s have a closer look.

If for whatever reason you feel dissatisfied with the car’s stock 612 hp (456 kW) and 850 Nm (627 pound-feet) of torque, you may now ask G-Power for a boost to 800 hp (596 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb×ft). This will necessitate an ECU remap, as well as the installation of revised turbochargers and a new stainless-steel exhaust system with a catalytic converter.

On an important note, tinkering with the engine will not disrupt normal operation of the car’s engine protection and diagnostics features.

Aside from the engine boost, the G-Power show car also sports an original set of Hurricane RR 21-inch alloy wheels with a glossy black finish, a modest-sized trunk lid spoiler, and several parts painted over in black (window frames, mirror caps, and logos).
