Okay, on a more serious note: we frankly don’t have a clue just why the owner of the car went for this kind of upgrade in the first place. In its most basic trim, the Mercedes-AMG E63 comes with a veritable monster of an engine capable of 571 hp (426 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lbft) of torque. The S trim is even further up with 612 hp (456 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lbft) of torque. Both variants deliver plenty in terms of engine roar.
Nonetheless, someone must have thought a third-party exhaust system would spark things up. Well, it certainly did! Good thing there’s a control valve somewhere in that muffler that can be used to make things cooler and quieter for a while.
