Mercedes E-Class lends itself to street racing with H&R springs

In Europe, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class estate/wagon is primarily sought after by people who have their own business or otherwise travel much. Those with street-racing inclinations will find its suspension too tall and too soft, and while the AMG series addresses that, it comes at a premium few would be willing to pay. Any alternatives?

H&R just launched one. The company offers a simple lowering kit for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class (S213) that brings it 35 mm (1.4 inches) closer to the ground on the front axle and 25 mm (1”) on the rear axle. The low stance doesn’t just look sporty, but also enables better performance in fast curves.

Compatible sets exist for both the FWD and AWD versions of the S213, and the price amounts to a meager €243,75. Those who feel like spacing the wheels 26mm-40 mm (1”-1.6”) wider than stock may opt for Trak+ spacers starting from €97 per axle.
