Mercedes-AMG E63 facelift pic leaks from the factory

A low-resolution, low-quality snapshot of what looks like the new Mercedes-AMG E63 sedan/saloon was likely taken at the company’s Sindelfingen factory, where the E-Class, S-Class (including Maybach), CLS and AMG GT are produced.

A while earlier, someone has photographed a camouflaged test car in the estate/wagon version.

As you can see, the facelifted saloon sports horizontal brake lights instead of vertical ones like before. It also has a modest-sized rear spoiler, a black roof, and quad exhaust tips. The front end is not here for us to see, but we would assume an ever-so-slightly reshaped front bumper next to the company’s signature Panamericana grille – and little else, if anything.

Anothing thing that remains unclear is whether the depicted vehicle is an AMG E63 S or non-S. Recently, Mercedes-Benz has shown us camo-cladded E-Class saloons cruising down the streets of Las-Vegas. A while later, a YouTube video came out that accidentally flashed an image of the new E-Class on the infotainment screen. You can watch it right here.

Well, it looks like both the saloon and wagon versions of the car will be revealed in a matter of days or weeks. Sales in Europe are scheduled for this summer, but it won’t be until late this year or early in 2021 that the performance-oriented E53 and E63 become available.
