You know, it just happens sometimes that someone buys a shiny new Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ only to discover that 612 PS (603 HP / 450 kW) somehow doesn’t feel crazy enough. Some seek professional medical help; others turn to Brabus for an upgrade.
The Brabus 800 you see here benefits from dual high-performance turbochargers rated at 1.6 Bar max, an ECU remap, and carbon-fiber air intakes built into the radiator grille sides. The net result is a power boost of 188 PS (185 hp / 138 kW) and a torque boost of 150 Nm (110 lb-ft), to a total of 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft).
There is also no avoiding mentioning the high-flow, quad-tip, stainless-steel exhaust system. Brabus says you can easily fine-tune the sound profile using built-in valves, up to the point when you can be obnoxiously loud at 30 km/h (18 mph), but nearly silent when neighbors come after you.
