G-Power has unveiled a new tuning kit for the German estate car Mercedes-AMG E 63 S. The proposed chip tuning program takes its performance up to the stellar 800 hp (~600 kW).
It has to be said that the vehicle already commands plenty of raw power in its production version. Driven by a 4.0L turbocharged gasoline engine with 612 hp (456 kW), it reaches 100 km/h (60 mph) in less than 3.5 seconds.
Once the G-Power upgrade is applied, the performance springs up by 188 hp (140 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb·ft) of torque to a total of 800 hp (600 kW) and 1,100 Nm (810 lb·ft). The only modification necessary to achieve such a spectacular result takes place in the engine control unit.
The upgrade enables the car to sprint 0-100 km/h 0.3s faster than before and accelerate to a maximum of 340 km/h (211 mph), as opposed to the standard 300 km/h (186 mph).
G-Power optionally offers a new 20-inch forged wheel set for the upgraded Mercedes-AMG E 63 S.
