The Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain 4x4² is a crazy-but-fun estate car concept that premiered last year. Now, the time has come for the company to show what a vehicle with a whopping 420 millimeters (16”) of clearance is really capable of.
The car uses a thoroughly reworked E-Class chassis with different mount points for the suspension struts and wheels and a new front subframe. It also packs a powerful six-cylinder turbocharged engine which isn’t available in the standard version.
Aside from the above, the estate car has 3D-printed wheel arch extenders and sports a set of 20-inch wheels clad in off-road tires.
