Mercedes-Benz began teasing us with EQA pics in late 2019, and more than a year later, the electric hatchback finally breaks cover on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
The company reports that the 2WD EQA 250 specification will be the first to ship with 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW) under the hood. Higher performance specs will follow later on with AWD and up to 272 PS (268 hp / 200 kW).
The battery hatch will have to compete against the BMW iX1 when that one comes out, but it won’t happen until the regular X1 gets an update in 2022.
