Following the February launch of the front-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz EQA 250, the German automaker has now opened pre-order books for the AWD specs named 300 4Matic and 350 4Matic.
Both versions feature dual motors mounted one per axle. The 300 4Matic churns out 228 PS (225 hp / 168 kW) and 390 Nm (288 lb-ft) of torque, which lets it go 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 7.7 seconds. In turn, the EQA 350 4Matic produces 292 PS (288 hp / 215 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft), which reduces the sprint time to six seconds flat. Both max out at 160 km/h, or 99 mph.
The traction battery stored 66.5 kilowatt-hours, translating into 400-426 km (248 – 265 miles) of WLTP-rated range for the EQA 300 and 409-432 km (254 – 268 miles) for the EQA 350. A 100kW charger can get it from empty to 80% full in half an hour.
Prices for the Mercedes-Benz EQA 300 4Matic start from €53,538, with the EQA 350 4Matic only slightly above at €56,215.
