The EQB is an electric version of the standard internal combustion-powered GLB model, and it will be available in two specs for China and the rest of the world.
Starting with the exterior, there is a black solid panel instead of a grille, LED lights spanning the entire width of the front and the rear, and aerodynamically shaped 20-inch wheels.
The interior offers three rows of seats, but the rear row is rather cramped, having been designed for people under 165 cm (5’5”) tall. The rear bank can be moved forward or backwards by 14 cm (5.5”).
Customers in China will be able to order a premium spec with AMG Line trimming and a powertrain capable of 292 PS (288 hp / 215 kW). The international spec will come in FWD and AWD variants and a number of power options to choose from, but there will be only one battery size: 66.5 kilowatt-hours. Based on power consumption, the 350 4Matic spec will offer the longest electric driving range at 419 km (280 miles) WLTP-rated.
