Mercedes has shared the latest video from the driving tests of its conceptual EQC 4x4² SUV on a picturesque serpentine mountain road in Italy.
The area is known for its unpredictable and often challenging weather conditions, snowed-under parts, steep climbs and falls, and precariously sharp turns. The all-electric concept car does a superb job completing the route, however.
The vehicle shown in the video is based on the EQC production-ready platform, but is never going to make it to the assembly line. Instead, it is a successor to the E 400 All-Terrain Concept, powered by dual electric motors jointly rated at 408 PS (402 hp / 300 kW) and 762 Nm (562 lb-ft) of torque. The battery capacity is 80 kilowatt-hours.
