Speaking in a recent interview, Daimler AG CEO Ola Källenius announced the premiere of the new Mercedes-Benz EQE at the Munich Motor Show in Germany in September this year.
The electric vehicle will arrive based on the combined EVA/MEA tech and will be assembled in Bremen. According to Ola Källenius, it will primarily target the Porsche Taycan and the Tesla Model S as its main rivals while still ‘playing in a league of its own.’
Technical specs are scarce at the time. All we know is that the EV may spawn multiple AMG versions later on, as well as an SUV variant.
