Mercedes-Benz EQE spied with production body and lights

Mercedes continues testing its next electric novelty, the EQE. Shortly after a video showing a disguised prototype, a bunch of photos have been published with some interesting details on them.

The car got rid of some of its camo. There is a telltale solid black panel where the front grille used to be, where the engineering team will install a video camera. A parking sensor will be built into the front bumper as well.

Overall, the outlines remind us those of the EQS, as the EQE comes based on the same electric platform. However, unlike its big brother, the EQE will be sedan-shaped with a regular trunk lid.

It is official that the model will ship in three versions: one will offer 333 PS (328 hp / 245 kW) and RWD, another one 524 PS (517 hp / 385 kW) and AWD, and the last one will be a top-of-the-line AMG spec with so far undisclosed parameters.

The reveal is scheduled for September.
