Taking example from its direct competitors, Mercedes will be implementing a highly efficient air filtering system in its vehicles, starting with the EQS liftback model.
The new climate control system can essentially keep the air inside the car as clean and free from bacteria as the air inside a surgery theater, the manufacturer claims.
The vehicle itself will debut next year. Aside from the groundbreaking air filtration tech, it will boast a new AI-powered infotainment system (stay tuned for our report later today) and Vision EQS powertrain. Battery size remains unknown, but the driving range should amount to 700 kilometers (435 miles) WLTP-rated.
