At the Consumer Electronics Show coming up on January 7, 2021, Mercedes will be unveiling an ultra-modern infotainment system of its own make. Called the MBUX Hyperscreen, it will be available to EQS buyers at a premium.
The system incorporates hardware and software solutions governed by an artificial intelligence that can control multimedia playback, switch air conditioning, and access many other crucial in-car features. Design-wise, it manifests itself as a solid curved display spanning the width of the dashboard up to the front passenger seat.
The EQS itself will debut in 2021 and go on sale in the United States as a year 2022 model. This basically means that the CES will provide the first real opportunity for us to peek inside the cabin of the luxury EV.
