The German manufacturer has listed some of the specs of the EQS electric sedan coming up next week.
The largest battery will be rated at 108 kilowatt-hours, which should translate into 770 kilometers (478 miles) of range on a charge under optimal circumstances. Its useful capacity will amount to 107.8 kWh. A smaller ten-cell battery will be rated at 90 kWh. Spending 15 minutes at a rapid charge terminal will give you around 300 km (186 miles) of extra range.
The company initially intends to offer two versions. The EQS 450+ is a rear-wheel-drive sedan with a single electric motor rated at 333 PS (328 hp / 245 kW). The EQS 580 4Matic+ is an AWD spec with two motors and 524 PS (517 hp / 385 kW) total. Both are capped pretty low at 210 km/h (130 miles per hour).
