Chinese car tuner EDO Tuning has released a number of updates and improvements intended for the 2017 Mercedes G500 (W463). The “Edo G Car” package sports a full-fledged aero kit, lowered suspension, a sports-grade exhaust system, and new wheels.
More specifically, the SUV gains a large front spoiler with integrated DRLs, a new ventilated hood cover with a motor dome, and a rather unique set of front fenders reminiscent of those that come with the Bugatti Vivere Diamond Edition kit by Mansory. Aside from the above, the car sports protective headlight grilles and tinted windows.
The tuner chose to replace the factory wheels with a forged set of PUR Wheels (FL25) 22 inches in diameter and painted dark orange. The car now also rides 40 to 50 mm (1.5-2”) lower owing to a lowering kit by KW Suspensions.
Wrapping up the list of items in the Edo G Car package is an FI Exhaust system with two stainless-steel sidepipes that lends the stock V8 a deep growl.
