Newest Mercedes G-Class gets H&R lowering/lift kits

From 1979 until 2018, the formula behind famous G-Wagen has remained virtually the same. There were occasional minor changes, granted, but the chassis has survived the test of time. Last year, the German company finally decided it was time for an update, and the new Mercedes G-Class emerged. Without wasting too much time, H&R has come out with advanced aftermarket springs for the vehicle.

First, there is a suspension lowering set that could be used to reduce the ride height by 30 millimeters (1.2 inches). This won’t just make your G-Wagen look sportier, but will also make it more stable in turns. Note that the €474 kit is currently only compatible with the Agility Control suspension type. This means that, if you have the adaptive AMG Ride Control suspension, the upgrade is not for you.

Second, there is a lift kit that raises the car a further 40 mm (1.6 inches) above the ground, making it more useful to anyone whose lifestyle, work or hobby involves conquering difficult terrain. This one will set you back €540.

Additionally available for the newest Mercedes G-Class are H&R Trak+ wheel spacers, starting at €119.
