If you a staunch believer that there is no such thing as too much carbon fiber, take a closer look at the body kits offered by Japanese tuner Liberty Walk. The firm just released another extravagant-looking package for the previous-generation Mercedes-AMG G63.
If you own a G-Wagen, you have as many as three options, FRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic), Dry Carbon (carbon fiber manufactured via a relatively cheap “dry” approach), and CFRP (what you’d call the normal carbon). The latter kit comes priced at a hefty U.S. $24,000, which is twice the price of the FRP option.
The CFRP kit includes the hood cover, radiator grille, front apron, bolt-on fender flares, front roof spoiler, rear wing, and spare wheel housing. The Dry Carbon package lacks the grille and the housing, and the FRP kit additionally misses the roof spoiler and hood cover.
