A video has recently popped up on YouTube featuring a series of drag races attended by a 71-year-old woman. The showdown was between a BMW M850i and a Mercedes-AMG G63.
The granny got to drive both cars – and she did it like a pro, showing miracles of reaction speed and taking both the SUV and the coupe to their speed limits.
For those who forgot, the BMW M850i comes equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 TT engine rated at 523 hp (390 kW). It uses an eight-speed automatic transmission to send the power to all four wheels.
At 577 hp (430 kW), the Mercedes-AMG G63 is considerably stronger, but it also weighs a good deal more than the sports coupe, and is not nearly as aerodynamic. It has an AWD system and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
