When the creation of some automakers are taken by tuners from another country, the result may surprise everyone. It happened this time. The Italian tuning company Ares Design presented to the general public the product of its work on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, called Ares X-Raid.
The basis for the project was the "pumped" SUV Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. But to learn the car after the Italians completely revised the design of the body is almost impossible.
Thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber elements, the Ares X-Raid became lighter than its 200-kilogram dad. After modernization, the 5.5-liter V8 powerplant began to produce 760 horsepower, and the maximum speed of the car increased to 250 km / h.
If we talk about the interior, then, thanks to the unique solutions applied, it can be noted that the salon has become more comfortable and luxurious. For passengers installed rear VIP seats.
There is no exact information about the cost of the package of improvements, however, according to insiders, it will cost $ 700,000.
