Not so much, really. We are once again offered a typical ‘widebody’ treatment for the G-Class, i.e. with the fender extenders. The styling is also typical Japanese Domestic Market (JDM): edgy, bulky shapes, exposed hardware, and much aggression. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar kit produced by almost anyone else in Japan.
Having said that, the parts actually look rather good. The hood cover and wheel arches are fittingly muscular, the auxiliary lights on the front bumper and roof won’t hurt in any case, and the front spoiler and rear diffuser even lend the G-Wagon a bit of a sporty vibe.
