Brabus has released a series of photos showing its bullet- and explosion-proof version of the Mercedes G-Class. On the outside, the car looks barely any different from its factory counterpart shown in the video.
The armor class used is VR6, which means the SUV can withstand sustained 7.62mm automatic rifle fire and multiple explosions (distance limitations apply).
To help the G-Wagon cope with the added bulk, it comes powered by a boosted version of its 4.0-liter V8 engine, now capable of 800 hp (596 kW). Linked to a redesigned automatic transmission, it takes the car 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8.2 seconds and all the way up to 210 km/h (130 mph).
The pricing remains unknown.
