Unique carbon-wrapped G-Class goes up on sale in Moscow

This Mansory G-Couture, created based on a 2008 Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG, belongs to a series of just seven vehicles and currently sells for 38,000,000 RUB (485,640 USD).

The car boasts a full carbon body and is the second in the series. It is also the only G-Class of its kind in Russia, according to the owner.

Aside from the all-carbon body, the unique SUV packs plenty of the same material in the cabin. The four individual bucket seats come wrapped in expensive python leather, and the center console and audio system are also new. The wheels measure 23 inches across.

The standard 5.5-liter supercharged V8 gets a sizeable boost from its usual 507 PS (500 hp, or 373 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. In its Mansory version, it produces 700 PS (690 hp, or 515 kW), as well as up to 880 Nm (656 lb-ft) of torque. The five-speed automatic transmission and AWD system with its three mechanical diff locks stay stock.

The SUV is described as being in a ‘near-perfect’ driving condition with around 89,000 kilometers (55,300 miles) under the belt.
