Mercedes-AMG G 63 gains off-road flexibility thanks to KW components

KW automotive has launched a new suspension swap kit for the latest Mercedes G-Class AMG. You can use it to drop the ride height by between 0 and 30 mm (0”-1.2”) at the front and between 5 and 30 mm (0.2” – 1.2”) at the rear.

The full package comes at a hefty price of €10,000 and includes KW DDC plug&play shock absorbers and coilovers. The on-board electronics recognizes the upgrade correctly, and drivers can remotely switch between modes called Comfort, Sport and Sport+ whenever they want to. The shocks can be fine-tuned in terms of compression and rebound strokes as well.

The manufacturer claims that the SUV rolls and rocks much less than usual regardless of the mode chosen and the current load. The ability to change settings on the go ensures maximum comfort when driving off the road or back onto a highway.
