The former governor of the State of California and famous actor Arnold Schwarzenegger remade Gelandewagen in an electrocar.
At the request of a celebrity, the Kreisel Electric company undertook to re-equip the car from Austria, native for Schwarzenegger, the company have long been engaged in this "electrification" of cars with internal combustion engine. Gelandewagen lost the old motor and got two new electric motors which together generate capacity of 500 horsepowers. It is noted that its transformation only improved dynamic qualities of a star car.
