Inkas turns the 2020 Mercedes-AMG G63 into a mobile bastion

It has been a while since we last heard from Inkas. The Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer modded the previous-gen Mercedes-AMG G-Class to withstand high-power rifle fire and explosions two years ago, and now, it is finally offering a similar conversion of the latest 2020 AMG G63.

Inkas extends the wheelbase to 4,394 mm (173 inches) ending up with a car that looks like it may accommodate a military squad – but don’t get it wrong, it is still a four-seater. All the extra space goes into armor plating, as well as luxury trimming and equipment that some Maybach owners might be jealous of. there is leather and Alcantara wherever you look, and those at the rear row can enjoy a 4K display with a touch panel built into the broad armrest. Climate control, premium audio and pretty much everything else you may expect in a luxury conversion like this is present.

From the practical point of view, the SUV comes with a BR6 ballistic protection certificate. This means it can take 7.62mm gunfire at point-black range and two grenades exploding simultaneously under the bottom without the risk of it harming the occupants inside.

Prices are only being disclosed to interested clients, but for reference, consider that the old-gen Inkas G-Class started from U.S. $1,200,000.
