You could buy the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP or a high-end supercar

Even as Brabus announced its extreme G-Wagon-based pickup truck called the 800 Adventure XLP earlier this year, we knew it was not going to be cheap by a long shot. With the car officially on sale on the tuner’s website now, you can find out just how expensive it is.

The brand-new, zero-mileage ride will set you back €683,240 in Europe, taxes included (or around U.S. $805,000 at the current conversion rates). What you get in exchange for your money is an engine boosted from 585 to 800 PS (577 to 789 hp, or 430 to 588 kW, respectively). The torque simultaneously goes up from 850 to 1,000 Newton-meters (627 to 738 pound-feet). The body gains 689 mm (27 inches) of length owing to the truck bed, and the wheelbase gains 500 mm (20 inches), too. Getting from nothing to 100 km/h (62 mph) succeeds in 4.8 seconds, but don’t expect the bulky off-roader to go beyond 210 km/h (132 mph).
