Mercedes-Benz G-Class spy photos revealed days before the official premiere

Photos showing the new uncamouflaged Mercedes-Benz G-Class have been posted online by an anonymous photographer within a few days of the car’s big reveal at the Detroit International Motor Show starting January 8th.

Mercedes-Benz had earlier published some official images of its latest G-Class, but on those the car had been concealed under the customary pre-release camouflage.

It can immediately be seen that the next-generation Mercedes-Benz G-Class is virtually identical in appearance to its predecessor. Nonetheless, it does get better suspension developed in cooperation with the famous brand department AMG. Thanks to it, the off-roader now has 241 millimeters of clearance (that’s 9.4 inches) and may cross streams up to 700 mm (27 in) deep.

Last but not least, just as the exterior of the vehicle has stayed the same, the interior has undergone quite a major redesign, as you may see on the pictures provided.
