A YouTube vlogger has accidentally stumbled onto a whole mausoleum of decayed Mercedes-Benz G-Class cars in Great Britain, including some rare editions.
Most of the video was filmed in the dark of an early Sunday morning, with the man claiming that getting there was problematic in full daylight. He said there were around two dozen SUVs in varying states of ruin.
Nearly all cars lack one part or another, examples including windows, bumpers and grilles. A few look like they were clearly abandoned several years ago, while others appear to be recent additions – at least, judging by their well-preserved interiors.
There are short-wheelbase three-door G-Wagons standing next to rare soft-tops and a single battered AMG one. A few Mercedes sedans accompany the SUVs, including rare W114 ones, but they are not the focus of the video.
The reason why all these cars ended up abandoned there remains shrouded in mystery.
