New Mercedes-AMG G63 to premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2018

Visitors to the 88th International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland held on March 8-18, 2018 will be the first to see the updated Mercedes-AMG G63 performance crossover, an inside source claims.

It is reported that the appearance of the vehicle will change quite a bit. It’s going to get an updated 4.0L V8 that comes with other current-generation AMG models. The current engine outputs up to 610 horsepower with 850 Nm torque, but these numbers may be considerably improved in the next version.

Given the fact that Mercedes had earlier cancelled its release plans for a high-end Mercedes-AMG G65 with a V12 onboard, the forthcoming Mercedes-AMG G63 is going to be the highest performer in the entire G-Class.

A hybrid variant of the Mercedes-AMG G63 will most likely be released as well, even though there is still no official confirmation.
