Mercedes said it was going to release a special series of the next-generation, high-performance AMG G63 off-roader. Called Edition 1, it will be available one year from the production date – as all such series issued by the German brand go.
The greyish-black color scheme and multiple contrasting red/black spots make the new vehicle stand out quite a lot, with exclusive 22-inch wheels taking the impression further.
The red/black theme carries over into the interior of the new Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 1 as well, producing many stylish highlights.
The new Mercedes-AMG G63 comes with a revised 4.0L V8 engine with 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque in its hi-end version. It can sprint to 100 km/h (61 mph) in 4.4 seconds and go at 220 km/h (136 mph) at most. This can be upgraded to 240 km/h (150 mph) with the optional AMG Driver Package.
