The second-gen Mercedes-Benz GLA range now starts with an especially affordable version called 180, which comes to replace the GLA 200.
The new GLA 180 comes equipped with the same 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the previous entry-level model. However, while the old spec had 163 PS (120 kW) and 250 Nm (183 lb-ft) of torque, the new one only has 136 PS (100 kW) and 200 Nm (148 lb-ft). Both use seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLA 180 is already available to pre-order in Europe starting at €47,193, mere €1,100 or so below the GLA 200.
