Mercedes-Benz reveals teaser vid of its GLC Coupe facelift

Mercedes-Benz just uploaded a video demonstrating the mid-generational refresh of its GLC Coupe. Mind that this isn’t official, but sources say the SUV coupe will celebrate its international debut at the 2019 New York International Auto Show held on April 19-29.

The footage shows the new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe equipped with new LED-based lighting, but it remains to be seen just whether the company will offer it in base or as a paid option.

The car will most likely take advantage of a fully digital dashboard and an MBUX infotainment system that will come with a 7” display by default (optional: 10.25”).

Powering the facelifted coupe is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gas engine rated at 258 hp (192 kW), and a 48V starter-generator contributing additional 150 Newton-meters (111 pound-feet) of torque.

The regular, non-coupe Mercedes-Benz GLC debuted at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland. Compared to the pre-facelift version, the newcomer had a characteristic “diamond-block” radiator grille, chromed body highlights, LED lighting, a sporty exhaust system, and differently styled bumpers.
