In the mini-SUV market segment, the Mercedes GLC 63 AMG (X253) immediately stands out thanks to its higher-than-usual performance: 510 hp (380 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lbft) straight from the factory is quite a lot for a vehicle of its size and weight. This actually makes it almost as good as the latest BMW X3 M and X4 M! You would think this is more than enough, but the team behind Speed-Buster begs to differ. The performance tuner just adapted its CTRS Tuning Box to this particular SUV.
As a result, the vehicle gained another 108 hp (81 kW) along with 140 Nm (104 lbft), bringing the grand total to 618 hp (461 kW) and 840 Nm (620 lbft). It can now easily challenge the AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC Coupé, which is marginally weaker as well as bulkier and heavier in comparison.
Aside from the performance plus, Speed-Buster promises better fuel efficiency (up to 15 percent) and the ability to fine-tune the performance to a desired level using a dedicated mobile app (16 levels available).
