Japanese tuner unveils new, understated Mercedes GLE body kit

Japanese tuner Wald International has designed a new body kit for the Mercedes GLE (С292). Surprisingly enough, the aero parts look rather subtle on the bulky SUV coupe, and there are no fender flares to be seen. This may actually make it interesting to people who usually don’t care for JDM-style kits.

Wald settled on a regular GLE for the show car. The vehicle gained a prominent front spoiler lip complete with a chrome insert and LED daytime running lights, and a rear diffuser with an anti-fog brake light in the middle – and that would be all.

Aside from the aero parts, Wald International suggests fitting the car with a darkened Panamericana front grille, a custom wheel set (multiple sets available in sizes up to 24 inches), a suspension lowering kit and a performance exhaust system (several systems / exhaust tip designs available).

The tuner never mentioned the cost of its Mercedes GLE (С292) body kit or whether it is also compatible with the AMG variant of the car.
