It has been several months since Mercedes started taking its 2022 GLE facelift out for road testing, and recent photos suggest that the update is nearing completion.
Most of the novelty is concentrated at the front and the rear ends of the crossover SUV. Radical changes aren’t the Mercedes way of doing things, however, so we expect a slightly redesigned front bumper, slimmer headlights, new DRL, and retouched taillights – and that would be it for the exterior.
Inside the cabin, the steering wheel and the MBUX infotainment system could be the main updates. The current engines will probably remain on the lineup for a while longer, but Mercedes might fiddle with their settings and change the output ever so slightly.
Stay tuned for a premiere of the new GLE in early 2022.
