Brabus proclaims its Mercedes-AMG GLE world’s fastest road-going SUV

At the Monaco Yacht Show earlier this year, tuner Brabus has unveiled a downright hardcore take on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+, and has now followed up with full specifications and pricing.

The Brabus 900 Rocket Edition will be limited to just 25 units priced starting from €381,243 before options, taxes and other fees. This makes it roughly €100,000 more expensive than the original. What does the buyer get in return for the investment? Let’s have a look.

In the epicenter of attention stands a complex power upgrade to 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW) and 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission delivers the momentum to all four wheels, enabling the SUV Coupe to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds and ultimately reach 330 km/h (205 mph). Brabus claims it is therefore the world’s fastest-going SUV with a valid license plate.

Elsewhere, the car features a complete carbon-fiber body kit, carbon-ceramic brakes, air-ride suspension which is 25 mm (1 inch) lower than stock, and bespoke 23-inch Brabus Monoblock Y Platinum Edition wheels wrapped in track rubber. As for the interior, the company will implement virtually any custom trim there using carbon fiber, finest leather and Alcantara.
