Mercedes-Maybach has finally showed us what its much-anticipated GLS looks like – perhaps hoping that you do not take things literally and think it looks just like a radiator grille with a pair of headlights.
Poor jokes aside, the grille has vertical fins, the lower apron has a fine mesh with a silvery glimmer to it, and the Mercedes logo stays the same as before. This is all you can make out on the sole teaser image so far available. Luckily for us, car spotters have already got this one on camera, so we already know that it features new wheels and exhaust tips.
Mercedes-Maybach said before that the updated GLS would also pack multi-contour seats with massage and ventilation functions and take advantage from special finishing materials. Noise proofing will be improved, every passenger will get an individual touch panel, and the climate control system will cover as many as four zones.
Engine range is perhaps the one area regarding which no information is available at all at the moment. We will hopefully know everything when the new GLS debuts at the Auto Guangzhou show just tomorrow, November 21.
