Wheelsandmore pushes the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 to 809 HP

It has been a year since the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 came out, yet not a single tuner found it in need of a power upgrade. This week, Wheelsandmore finally filled the niche by launching as many as four power kits for the GLS and its twin-turbo 4.0L V8.

The full-size luxury SUV packs 612 PS (603 hp / 450 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque straight from the factory. The Stage 1 upgrade contains a software update that lifts the output to approximately 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW) without further hardware mods. Stage 2 adds new turbos to the formula and yields 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW). Stage 3 and 4 promise 860 and 920 PS, respectively (848 and 907 hp; 632 and 677 kW).

The most affordable first option costs €2,577, but opt for the full range of upgrades, and you will be looking at spending €43,102.

GLS 63 owners can also avail themselves of a new exhaust system, giant 24-inch wheels and air-ride suspension tweaks.
