German auto giant has
officially introduced restyling S-Class Coupe and S-Class Cabriolet 2018 model
year. Both cars received design changes in the styling of the flagship S-Class
sedan.
The "fresh" models
were equipped with new bumpers, massive air intakes, another radiator grille,
modified optics, a modified exhaust system with chrome pipes, revised head
optics and replaced the LED elements of the rear lights with organic diodes
(OLED).
In the compartment of the
coupe and cabriolet, the latest generation COMAND infotainment system, two
12.3-inch displays, a modified steering wheel with sensors, sports seats, and
the Energizing Comfort system, which activates lighting, music, heating,
massage and other functions that answer for the comfort of passengers.
In addition, the engineers
finalized the Magic Body Control suspension system for the cars and equipped
with the improved Active Distance Assist Distronic and Active Steering Assist
systems.
The renewed Mercedes-Benz
S-Class Coupe will be offered on the world market in the modifications of S 450
4MATIC (3.0 V6, 367 hp, 500 Nm), S 560 / S 560 4MATIC (4.0 V8, 469 hp, 700 hp
Nm), AMG S 63 4MATIC + (4.0 V8, 612 hp, 900 Nm) and AMG S 65 (6.0 V12, 630 hp,
1000 Nm).
A restyled convertible
Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet 2018 model year will be available in versions S
560 (4.0 V8, 469 hp, 700 Nm), AMG S 63 4MATIC + (4.0 V8, 612 hp, 900 Nm) and
AMG S 65 (6.0 V12, 630 hp, 1000 Nm).
Public debut of new products
will be held next week at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt.
Immediately after the premiere, the official start of sales of cars in Europe
will begin.
