We have seen the ultra-popular Vossen M-X2 wheels on any number of cars, including the Audi S5, the Mercedes AMG GT, C63, and E63, and even the gorgeous Ferrari 488 GTB. It never failed to impress, not even on a supercar. Not long ago, the Mercedes S550 Coupe (C217) joined the list, too.
Just as we expected, the 22-inch, ten-spoke forged rims painted Vossen Red are a perfect match for the sports car. The tuner reduced the ride height by 40 mm (1.6 inches) by tweaking the stock air suspension, and thus made sure that the wheels filled out their respective arches with millimeter precision.
For the maximum visual impact, Vossen painted the brake calipers of the Mercedes S550 (C217) white to match the body, tinted the windows, and slapped on a small spoiler lip in the rear.
