The September reveal of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class draws nearer by the day, and so the development vehicles shed their disguise little by little. Let us look at the latest specimen caught testing.
The refreshed Mercedes-Benz S-Class stays true to its original body proportions, which notably includes a short overhang, long hood, and large wheelbase. Its headlights become slightly narrower and brake lights slightly wider.
Based on the spy shots, the luxury saloon also gets pop-out handles, a design decision that should enhance its looks and aerodynamic performance.
The car comes based on the MRA II platform that lends itself well to hybrid vehicles, so these are to be expected. The all-electric S-Class will also make an appearance, but that one will be known as the Mercedes EQS.
