The next-generation update of the luxurious Mercedes-Maybach S-Class sedan will be officially introduced to the public at the Geneva International Motor Show beginning on March 8, 2018.
The successor model has a very characteristic vertically aligned radiator grille which, no doubt, is an homage to the original Maybach.
Those willing to pay for the premium trim level will be able to choose from a variety of color schemes available both for the exterior and the interior. The manufacturer claims that all the polishing is performed manually.
A peek into the interior of the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class almost makes one want to find a new word for ‘luxury’. Top-grade leather, stitched gold or platinum-colored seats – everything looks lavish, to say the least.
In its S560/S560 4Matic modification, the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class comes with two engine options: the same old 4.0L V8 with 469 horsepower and a new 6.0L V12 with 630 hp. It accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.8 seconds with the former and in 4.6 seconds with the latter.
No prices have been revealed so far.
