The range-topping Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabrio is a sight in itself, but some drivers still find it lacking in sheer presence. Brabus and Fostla deliver the goods this time around.
The former supplies the carbon-fiber body kit that you can see here, consisting of a front apron, a rear diffuser, a trunk lid spoiler and a grille badge. The grille itself mimics those of the more recent AMGs and sports vertical ribs. The parts that used to be chromed are now dark.
21-inch brass wheels evoking Mercedes-Maybach vibes round things off outside, while an Olea Green wrap by Fostla makes sure the car is a true eye-catcher. Inside are illuminated sills, carbon paddle shifters, exclusive floor mats, and other nice details.
Unexpectedly enough, things stay stock under the hood where the 5.5-liter V8 TT still churns out its regular 585 PS (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. The convertible needs less than four seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph), and the speed ceiling lies at 250 km/h (155 mph).
