Mansory comes up with a surprisingly tame new S-Class body kit

Starting now, owners of the latest W223 Mercedes-Benz S-Class may contact Mansory for a fresh body kit, custom wheels and interior, and a power upgrade.

The tuner says the kit only aims to enhance the elegance and understatement of the original car, which it has plenty of, and far be it from us to disagree. The package includes a neat front lip, side skirts, two front air intake options, a couple of rear diffusers to choose between, and wheel arch accents. You could also go for a carbon engine cover, replace the mirror housings or make the rear vents more noticeable. Rounding things off are three wheel sets and a handful of Mansory badges.

As far as the performance is concerned, customers are welcome to order upgrades for both the S400d diesel and the S500 petrol versions. The former gets an ECU remap and a new exhaust system for 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW) and 837 Nm (617 lb-ft) of torque. The latter gets the same share of upgrades and goes to 533 PS (526 hp / 392 kW) and 629 Nm (463 lb-ft), enabling it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds. Both max out at 270 km/h (167 mph).

Finally, there are interior upgrades ranging from an in-house leather steering wheel, floor mats and aluminum pedals to a complete makeover.
